“ The journey of nurturing others begins in the heart. While we may not remember the exact moment we felt compelled to invest in someone else's growth, there comes a time when we recognize the life-changing impact of our contributions. Just as a small seed requires the right balance of rain, sunlight, and fertile soil to flourish, so do our efforts in supporting others. With care and dedication, we can help cultivate and foster the newness of life through Workforce Development programs.”

FOUNDER & CEO
I am a product of Chicago’s workforce development programs, having navigated a diverse array of life experiences I continue to embrace opportunities for learning and personal growth.
My educational journey began with a grant-funded training program, which facilitated immediate employment through its placement services. I attended South Suburban and Olive Harvey College intermittently while helping to raise my family. During my tenure with Chicago Public Schools, I realized I had accumulated sufficient credits to enroll in Roosevelt University’s Evelyn Stone Accelerated program, ultimately earning my Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in African American Studies in less than two years.
During the commencement service, I observed a smaller cohort of graduates who had earned their Master degrees. I re-enrolled and completed my Master of Arts with a concentration in Community Counseling. Notably, I also witnessed a very select group of graduates adorned in academic regalia, having achieved their doctoral degrees. This inspired me to continue learning and complete my Doctor of Education from the School of Business and Management, with a concentration in Organizational Leadership.
Throughout my educational journey, I have gained valuable work experience with the public school system, behavior health systems, psychiatric services, youth violence prevention, workforce development, construction trade apprenticeship programs and a detention center.
My journey has significantly shaped my character. Today, I remain committed to empowering others as they navigate their own paths toward discovering their purpose and fulfilling their potential. The world is perpetually in search of the next success story, and your organization has the capacity to create these transformative narratives time and time again!
